Patient • Dignified • Courteous

I believe judicial temperament, patience and professionalism matter. Every. Single. Courtroom. Day.

Donation Pledge

To preserve the appearance of propriety and impartiality of the judiciary, I take the pledge not to accept more than $500 in connection with an election, or 1/10th the contribution limit, from any attorney who practices before 312th Family District Court. Primary, general & runoff elections are treated as separate elections. Tex. Elec. Code sec. 253.1621. There were 3 elections during the cycle culminating on November 8, 2022. You can donate no more than a total of $1500 for this cycle ($500 max for the 2022 primary election, $500 max for the 2022 primary runoff election & $500 max for the 2022 general election). It is permissible to donate for an election that has already occurred this 2022 cycle so long as the donation is made by March 7, 2023.

Why me? Why now?

I’m running now because I believe judicial temperament, patience and professionalism matter. Every. Single. Courtroom. Day.

Families access the 312th in times of crisis. That is exactly when they need and deserve a calm, patient and dignified jurist on the bench. That’s not what we have in the 312th now.

I have been in private practice for over 31 years. I am the only candidate for this bench who is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. I have the patience, dignity and demeanor needed to run this courtroom in a professional manner. One that you would expect to encounter when doing business in the 312th.
